Albany Alumni Association gets new Web site, doesn’t understand concept of “permanent”
Just got an e-mail from my alumni association. “Permanent” just isn’t what it used to be.
Currently, you are enjoying several perks as a member of the UAlbany alumni online community; one of these is the permanent email/email forwarding feature. Unfortunately, this specific component is not offered by the new company we are working with. If you’re utilizing the Albany.edu permanent email feature now, please be aware that this will no longer be available after July 10. Users of this feature will need to begin making email-related adjustments as needed, so that you continue to receive your emails (most likely at a personal account through Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail.)
