If you’re someone who uses the mouse in your left hand, the standard CTRL-X, -C, & -V aren’t exactly handy. (Argh, puns!) Instead try SHIFT-DELETE, CTRL-INSERT, and SHIFT-INSERT for Cut, Copy, and paste respectively.
