Left MouseIf you’re someone who uses the mouse in your left hand, the standard CTRL-X, -C, & -V aren’t exactly handy. (Argh, puns!) Instead try SHIFT-DELETE, CTRL-INSERT, and SHIFT-INSERT for Cut, Copy, and paste respectively.

Firefox LogoTry these:

  • Type a keyword into Firefox’s URL bar then press CTRL-Enter. You’ll end up @ http://www.keyword.com.
  • Type a keyword into Firefox’s URL bar then press SHIFT-Enter. You’ll end up @ http://www.keyword.net.
  • Type a keyword into Firefox’s URL bar then press CTRL-SHIFT-Enter. You’ll end up @ http://www.keyword.org.

With testing, I’ve found that the first works in Chrome, but the other two don’t.

This tip works in IE, Chrome & Firefox. (I don’t have Safari so would someone be willing to confirm if it works there?)

The quickest way to access you browser’s Download Manger is CTRL-J. This is much faster than hunting around for the right icon or menu item, especially if you’re constantly switching browsers.
