What is old is new again (in the copyright wars)
I’m currently reading Piracy: The Intellectual Property Wars from Gutenberg to Gates and I must say, despite it’s 626-page girth and 70 pages of footnotes I’m finding it completely fascinating. What prompted this post is the following story of a campaign to “eradicate piracy” in 1759.
