If You Didn’t Buy It From Amazon It Doesn’t Count as Reading, Says Amazon

amazon-logoThen I looked at the fine print. CCSU bases their study on factors like libraries, bookstores, periodicals, newspaper circulation, Internet resources, and education levels. But Amazon’s study? Is based on just “sales data of all book, magazine and newspaper sales in both print and Kindle format.”

So, in case you didn’t catch that, Amazon thinks the cities that are most “well-read” are the cities that bought the most stuff from them.
