    I received this e-mail this morning and I figured it’s wasn’t a problem to share. Please only respond if you’re a resident of Lincoln, NE.

    Dear Michael,

    The Lincoln Metropolitan Planning Organization needs your help! We’re working to improve your transportations options in the Lincoln region. The purpose of this project is to develop strategies and programs to support individual travel choices, and encourage sustainable transportation – such as biking, walking, taking transit, and sharing rides. As a first step in this process, we’d like to better understand current interests, issues, and barriers to using sustainable modes of transportation.

    Michael Sauers is currently the Technology Innovation Librarian for the Nebraska Library Commission in Lincoln, Nebraska and has been training librarians in technology for more than 15 years. He has also been a public library trustee, a bookstore manager for a library friends group, a reference librarian, serials cataloger, technology consultant, and bookseller. He earned his MLS in 1995 from the University at Albany’s School of Information Science and Policy. Michael’s eleventh book, Semantic Web Technologies and Social Searching for Librarians was published May 2012 and has two more books on the way.       Maybe some kind of connection between library card/reduced price bus pass?
