Last week I wrote about the project to save all of the content from the closing Google Video. I personally ended up downloading 500 of those videos totaling more than 20GB of content. In all volunteers downloaded more than 18TB of content. Well, it turns out that Google heard the cries and has taken the following steps:
Google Video content will stay live for an indefinite amount of time.
Those with Google Video content now have a one-click solution to copy their content to their YouTube accounts.
