I love Firefox’s built-in spellchecker, especially when I’m blogging. Unfortunately, by default it only runs spellcheck in text-boxes (the form fields that allow for multiple lines of input). Well, with one small tweak of Firefox’s config file you can make spellcheck work in every form field!

Great! I have been wondering about this for years.
Mozilla really needs to make this option A LOT clearer. We rely on spell check constantly. I can’t believe I’m reading an article posted in 2007 – six years later and it’s still a mystery you have to search for. Thanks for the info, and I hope this becomes easier to do.
Found this and thought you could try it.
