Firefox leaks memory like crazy. Try this:

Basically, it will trim the memory every time you minimize the window. Works well.
Thanks! I’ve dont that on my computers and will see how well it works.
Do you have many extensions added to your Firefox? I know I personally have Forecast Fox, Yahoo Mail Notifier, GMail Notifier, Sage, Bug Me Not, and Quick Notes. My Firefox is using about 100 mb right now.
I’ve got a few dozen extensions myself only one or two of which I believe I’m willing to give up. Maybe I should take a look and clean them out a bit. (Hey, I got rid of the Abe Vigoda extension a while back.)
Also note that several memory leak issues were fixed in 1.5.0.2, so try upgrading if you’re using 1.5 or 1.5.0.1.
Nope, fully upgraded to 1.5.0.2. The ultimate issue is probably the fact that the computer in question runs 24-7, gets rebooted about one a month, and Firefox is rarely closed. Maybe I need to get into the habit of shutting the it down more often.
