Speaking of Firefox extensions, there’s an extension which adds “Restart Firefox” to the File menu, simplifying the shutdown and restart process necessary to get recently installed extensions and themes to work.

great indeed! but how do I restart the browser so that this at all takes effect?? i tried to close and open a new browser, but it doesnt help!! please help 🙂
Sorry but whenever I install it I do exactly what you’re describing. Install the add-on, File|Exit the browser, then run it again. Every time the new menu option has appeared. I do not know why it’s not working for you.
