Do Space has been in the local news a whole bunch this week. Here’s a link roundup:
- Omaha’s digital library, Do Space, to open this weekend (KIOS)
- Do Space to officially open Saturday (KETV)
- Technology Hub Hopes to Bridge “Digital Divide” in Metro (WOWT)
- A workshop for people to learn and create, $7M digital library Do Space is eager to open (Omaha World Herald)
- 3-D printing, write on the walls: Inside the Do Space (KMTV)
A few minor corrections from these reports:
- We do have over 200 computers but we do not have “200 workstations.”
- There are no fees for educational events.
- We did not mail out a Do Space card to everyone with an Omaha Public Library Card. It was more along the lines of one per-household of those with OPL cards.
