Seriously Adobe. As if your DRM isn’t enough of a pain in the rear already, when I updated your Digital Editions software to version 4.0.3.117585 I got “offered” Norton Security Scan. Seriously! What, with the imminent death of Flash, you have to rely on this crap to make money all of a sudden? And here I was actually considering spending $149 on Lightroom in the near future. Now I’m not so sure.

Even worse, Norton is terrible. I used to swear by their products but they got sued by a malware company years ago and they blinked and stopped blocking it. Symantec has been going down the tubes ever since.

I’m still using the old ADE v1.4 and it still does everything I need it to do with Overdrive.
