Last week I was delivering an eReaders workshop at the Beatrice Public Library in Beatrice, NE and on the way out at the end of the day I noticed this sign (shown right):
“If you rode your bike here and don’t have a lock, bicycle locks are available for checkout.”
Ok, that’s just cool. I didn’t get the chance to ask about the genesis of this idea but I’m not sure that completely matters. I just think this is a great service for the library to offer.
Michael Sauers is the Technology Manager for Do Space in Omaha, NE.
