The blog Hey, There’s a Dead Guy in the Living Room has posted “Ten misperceptions about public libraries” and it’s a generally wonderful list. I first thought was to encourage libraries to print out a nice copy and post it somewhere the public could read it. But then again check out item #4. Maybe that’s not something you’d want to make too public. How about posting “Nine misperceptions about public libraries” and providing the URL of the original (which you should do anyway; always give credit where credit is due) so people can read the complete list if they want to.
