Bargain Books Aren’t “New”

I ordered this from Amazon. It said shipped by Amazon, but I didn’t realize that its origins were a third-party seller. Regardless, it was listed as “new.” It wasn’t, it was a beat-up bargain book with stickers. I gave the seller a one-star review and Amazon’s response was “we shipped it so it’s our responsibility.” Well, that sure makes it ok. The kicker, I exchanged it for another “new” copy and it showed up just like the first one. So much so, I didn’t even bother taking new photos.
