I caught a little VH1 this morning before work and on came the video for Green Day’s “Time of Your Life (Good Riddance)”. I sat and watched it for the 1000th time since it’s such a great song. At the end of the video the credits came on again and I had the sneaking suspicion something just wasn’t right. I pulled out the Nimrod CD with the song on it and I was right. The original title for the song is/was “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)”. Did Green Day change the name of the song since everyone calles it “Time of Your Life” despite that not being the actual title? Did VH1 change the name of the song? Hmmmm…
