Welcome
"The most up-to-date and comprehensive "Modesitt" web site... I appreciate very much your efforts in keeping the Web site current and applicable."
— L.E. Modesitt, Jr.
By way of introduction...
With the launch of the Official L.E. Modesitt, Jr. Web site from TOR, this site has changed to the "Official Fan Site". I plan on keeping it up to date to the best of my ability and continue to have Lee's full support.
At more than a decade old now, this is the longest-running site dedicated to Lee's work. This site contains information not only on his work currently in print but all of his short works, the out of print works, foreign editions, and obscure collector's items. (Do you have a copy of the book where the printer misspelled his name on the cover?)
Is this site perfect? No. I maintain this site with what time I have available. Sometimes it gets a little behind but I always catch up in the end. As always, if you see any mistakes or missing information please do not hesitate to contact me and let me know. Without the help of the other fans, this site wouldn't have lasted as long as it has.

Dorrin Coppers
The Shire Post Mint is offering Dorrin Coppers for just $16 each.
"The design is based upon a facet of the fictional world of the “SAGA OF RECLUCE” novels by author Leland E.Modesitt Jr. In the tenth book of the series, THE MAGIC ENGINEER, we meet the Blacksmith Dorrin whose Order magic and innate engineering abilities lead to many adventures that bring the Isle of Recluce and the land of Candar to the brink of war and finally to the first Truce between the two lands."
