Tuesday Tech Tip: Removing hyperlinks in Word

Word logoYou’ve copied a bunch of text from the Web and pasted it into your Word document. But now you have a bunch of clickable blue underlined text and all you want is some plain black non-underlined non-clickable text. You may know that you can right-click on each individual hyperlink and select “Remove Hyperlink” but that gets tedious. Instead, type CTRL-A to select the whole document, then type CTRL-ALT-F9 and that will remove every hyperlink in the document.
