New site design

Those of you that read the feed you won’t have noticed this but I’ve got a new design for the blog and the rest of the site. The blog’s been converted and the rest of the site is coming along. Stop by, check it out, and let me know what you think. (Yes, I got the template somewhere else and then modified it a bit. I needed a change but was too tired to design something from scratch.)

At first glance I like the new color scheme. I found your old one a little jarring at first glance (but then got used to it). The highway picture in the banner is good.

I like the new design better than the old one.

In bloglines your title now comes out The Travelin' Librarian

I don’t know how to sign in anymore either, this is #%&*.

Brrr! This design feels chilly. Maybe a warm color, or a less severe font would make it more inviting? The old design seemed more “you” – this seems like someone else.

I like the new site design. I have also converted my blog over to the new blogger. I like the flickr badge. I have one on my blog now at babyboomerlibrarian.blogspot.com
